Chrome Extension Privacy Policy
Threshing Day Game — Offline Adventure
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy describes the data practices of version 1.0.0 of the Chrome extension Threshing Day Game — Offline Adventure, provided by the operator of threshingday-game.com. It covers the extension's offline story game, automatic progress saving, and collection of saved endings.
The extension does not send your gameplay data to us. It requires no account and runs locally in your browser. Visiting our website or contacting support is optional and is explained separately below.
What the extension stores on your device
The extension uses its own browser local storage to keep:
- Your current trial: a randomly generated game seed, your choices, and the resulting dragon type and rarity when applicable. Your position in the story is restored from these choices.
- Saved endings: up to 30 successful trials that you explicitly choose to save, including their choices, results, and the date and time each ending was saved.
- Save compatibility information: storage, game-rule, and dragon-catalogue versions used to read saved progress correctly.
The game seed determines story outcomes. It is not an advertising identifier or a way to track you across websites. Saved progress stays in the extension's storage within your current browser profile. The extension does not upload it, sync it through a cloud account, or share it with the website.
Why data is saved and how long it stays
Your current trial is saved after gameplay actions so you can close the popup and continue later. Saved endings let you revisit your results and the choices that led to them.
Starting a new trial replaces the current trial but keeps your saved collection. Saving a new ending when the collection already contains 30 endings replaces the oldest saved ending. Otherwise, local progress remains until you remove it, clear the extension's storage, or uninstall the extension. Closing the popup does not delete it.
If local storage cannot be read or written, the extension displays a warning. You can continue playing, but unsaved progress may be lost when the popup closes. Damaged or incompatible records may not be recoverable.
Information the extension does not collect
During ordinary use, the extension does not collect or transmit your name, email address, passwords, payment details, location, browsing history, or the content of pages you visit. It does not:
- Require registration or sign-in.
- Inspect other websites or inject scripts into them.
- Use analytics, advertising, tracking cookies, or tracking pixels.
- Send game results, usage events, or crash reports to a server.
- Run a background service or fetch remote code, story content, or artwork.
All executable game code, story content, and artwork are included in the installed extension. It requests no Chrome API permissions or website access permissions. The extension does not sell or share locally stored game data with third parties.
Your choices and deleting local data
You can manage your data directly in the extension:
- Remove a saved ending: open Collection, choose Remove for an ending, and confirm. This removes that collection entry; it does not reset a current trial that happens to have the same result.
- Clear all progress: open About → Clear local progress → Delete all progress. This clears the current trial and all saved endings after confirmation.
- Uninstall the extension: Chrome removes the extension's local data when it is uninstalled. Clearing the extension's browser storage also removes saved progress.
If a storage error prevents a deletion from being saved, the extension shows a warning; the change may apply only to the current session. Retry when storage is available or uninstall the extension to remove its local data.
We do not receive a copy of these local records and cannot retrieve or restore them for you. Changes to extension data do not affect website saves, because the two stores are separate.
Website links and other services
The extension includes links to our website, this policy, and our support email address. It opens website links only when you click them; it does not open a website automatically on installation.
Once you visit a website, ordinary network requests may disclose information such as your IP address and browser information to that website and its service providers. Our website's hosting, analytics, advertising, embedded media, and other services are governed by the website Privacy Policy, rather than the offline extension's practices. The website and this policy page require an internet connection; the extension's game does not.
This policy does not govern Google's own Chrome or Chrome Web Store services, which operate under Google's policies.
Contacting support
If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include in the message so we can respond to your request. This is separate from the extension's operation; the extension does not automatically attach your progress, browsing activity, or device logs. Please do not include passwords or other sensitive information in a support message.
For questions about this policy or information you have voluntarily sent to support, contact support@threshingday-game.com. To remove game data stored on your device, use the controls described above.
Children
The extension does not collect or transmit personal information from children or other users during gameplay. It does not provide accounts, chat, or a form for submitting personal information.
Changes to this policy
We will revise this page and its last-updated date when the extension's data practices change. This policy describes the current extension; it does not authorize undisclosed collection by future features.
